The first round of the 2024 Wyndham Championship will finally get underway Friday morning at Sedgefield Country Club in North Carolina. Here’s everything you need to know to watch the Wyndham Championship on Friday, including full TV coverage, streaming info and updated tee times for the postponed first round.
As with most PGA Tour events, the Wyndham Championship was supposed to get started on Thursday morning. But the final regular-season tournament of the season was pummeled with heavy rains and thunderstorms yesterday via Tropical Storm Debby.
The storms flooded the course, and after multiple delays, play was suspended for the day just before 12 p.m. ET.
Now players fighting to make it into the top 70 and qualify for the FedEx Cup Playoffs are expected to begin their campaigns at 9:50 a.m. ET on Friday, with more storms expected in the area Friday afternoon.
You can watch the postponed first round of the Wyndham Championship on TV via Golf Channel, which will air coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET on Friday. PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ will provide exclusive streaming coverage, including featured group coverage, starting at 9:45 a.m. ET, while Peacock will provide a simulcast of Golf Channel’s Friday TV coverage.
