Represent started off its journey as a little side project based in a garden shed in Manchester, and just over a decade later, it’s now one of the world’s most hyped independent streetwear labels. Known mostly for its Owners’ Club collection and its fitness-focused 247 range, Rep also knows a thing or two about creating a solid pair of jeans. Handcrafted and hand distressed, they come in a wide range of styles and finishes, and are also made from some very premium Italian denim.

Based out in New York City, handcrafted in Los Angeles, and made using only the finest Japanese selvedge denim, it’s quite clear that Todd Snyder has gone far and wide to create the ultimate pair of jeans. Made from one hundred per cent cotton for a one hundred per cent classic aesthetic, each pair is loaded with quality details throughout, including a shank button fly, oxidised rivets, chain-stitched embroidery, a locker loop inside the back waist, and selvedge outseams. Industry veterans Jeffrey Lubell and Kym Gold set out to tweak the classic five-pocket jean in 2002. Using a five-needle thread at two-stitches-per-inch process, they ended up completely reinventing the style instead, creating an instantly recognisable design that became affectionately-known as “Trues.” With the signature horseshoe design on its back pockets, even after two decades, True Religion still has very dedicated, very devoted following, staying true to the brand’s name.
