BAN vs IRE Cricket Betting Tips and Tricks 3rd ODI Match Prediction. The final game of the three-match ODI series between Bangladesh and Ireland will be played at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet on March 23rd, Thursday.
Ireland will take on the home team Bangladesh in the third and final game of the ODI series on Thursday at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.
Bangladesh is leading the 3-match ODI series 1-0 after they won by 183 runs in the first ODI. The second ODI was called off due to rain.
After being put to bat first, Bangladesh didn’t have a good start as they lost their skipper early, the track looked a little tough to start but Litton and Shanto batted in a responsible manner. Both made the 70s and got out. Rahim and Hridoy took charge in the middle overs and scored at a brisk rate and Bangladesh reached a mammoth total of 349.
Rahim played a wonderful knock to score the fastest century in an ODI for his side as he scored 100 of just 60 balls. But then rains came in and had the last say. We move to the decider now. Once again, Graham Hume was the best Ireland bowler taking three wickets, but the rest of the bowlers were not up to the mark. Rain ruined the rest of the game though, which had to be called off without a single ball bowled in the chase.
Ireland will hope to win the next game and level the series 1-1. Meanwhile, Bangladesh would look to wrap up the series 2-0.
Shakib Al Hasan: He has been a consistent performer for his country over the years and is considered one of the best all-rounders in the world. In the first ODI, he scored 93 of 89 balls and picked one wicket with the ball. He will be hoping to contribute with both the bat as well as the ball here.
Towhid Hridoy: The young right-hander played a wonderful knock on his debut as he became the highest scorer on his ODI debut for his country. He made 92 off 85 balls which included eight fours and two sixes. He carried his good run of form in the second ODI as well, scoring 49 of just 34 balls at a strike rate of 144.12.
Graham Hume: The Irish right-arm medium-fast was the standout bowler for his side. He was exceptional in both games, picking up 7 wickets at an economy rate of 5.9. In the last game when all other bowlers went for runs, he bowled an exceptional spell of 10-2-58-3.
Andrew Balbirnie: Ireland skipper and middle-order batsman is one of the most experienced and talented players on their side. He has experience playing all around the globe. He is a good player of spin which would help him tackle spin-friendly pitches in Bangladesh.
