LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Visit Lincoln and several destination marketing organizations have partnered to launch a new digital travel passport designed to encourage exploration amongst the Big Ten locations.
“Each and every one of our communities across the Big Ten have incredible passion for college athletics and that is certainly the case here in Lincoln,” Visit Lincoln Executive Director Jeff Maul said. “As we welcome new members into the Big Ten, there are exciting opportunities to welcome new visitors to our communities and new venues for them to enjoy outside the arenas of competition.”
Working with the tech company Bandwango, the group developed a digital passport featuring the top 10 attractions for each of the 17 Big Ten cities representing 18 schools. The free passport is easily accessible from a mobile device, providing instant access to the most popular things to see and do in each location.
Lincoln’s top 10 list includes:
• Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center
• Drinks at Bierhaus Maisschäler
• Shopping at Licorice International
• Coffee at The Charging Station
The Cities of the Big Ten passport can be accessed here.
