The Cleveland Cavaliers (7-6) will visit the Philadelphia 76ers (10-3) for an in-season tournament game at Wells Fargo Center.
The Philadelphia 76ers have the opportunity to return to the top of the Eastern Conference standings while also claiming an in-season tournament win.
Nick Nurse’s side are currently 10-3 on the season and 2-1 during the tournament, but this is their fourth and final opportunity.
Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are 1-1 in the tournament and will be eliminated with anything other than a win, so there’s plenty on the line for them.
They’ll be without star man Donovan Mitchell which has pushed the spread out towards eight points, but it’s not like he’s a great defender anyway.
Philadelphia have one just one of their previous four home games by more than three points and Cleveland are a good defence.
These two teams have held each other to 109 points per game across 10 meetings and the Cavs are fresh off a 120-109 win over the Nuggets.
Joel Embiid scored 32 as Philly beat the Nets 121-99 last time out so both teams are doing a good job of limiting their opponents right now.
Caris Levert has been listed as questionable since Sunday but given there was a chance he could feature then, he may well suit up on Tuesday.
Without him, this line may drift further, but we’re anticipating he could play and that’ll be all the help Cleveland need to stay within reach.
Bet: Cleveland Cavaliers +7.5
– Tip advised by The NBA Tipster from Tipstrr
It’s going to take a big effort in the paint if Cleveland are going to have any chance of containing Joel Embiid, so Evan Mobley needs to have a big game.
Prop: Evan Mobley over 8.5 rebounds
The Cavs will need to find ways to hurt Philly without Mitchell and three-point shooting is one way they can do that. Max Strus is averaging 7.7 attempts per game.
Prop: Max Strus over 2.5 threes made
