South Africa have been in an ordinary form in T20I cricket. They were out of playoff contention after losing to Netherlands in the Super 12 stage in the recently concluded ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. They also lost against India in an away series that took place in October last year by 2-1.

Players to look out for:

1. Rilee Rossouw- After a fantastic stint in the recently concluded HBL PSL 8, Rilee Rossouw will be raring to go against West Indies at home. He is a great striker of the cricket ball and ofcourse the Trump Card for South Africa in the upcoming series.

2. Anrich Nortje- The fast and furious bowler Nortje can provide breakthroughs in the early phases of a T20I innings and can prove to be a match winner for South Africa.

West Indies are in a terrible form in T20I cricket. They couldn’t qualify for the Super 12’s in the recently concluded ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Prior to that, they also lost against Australia by 2-0 away from home. With a new skipper in place, West Indies would like to turn the tables in terms of their form in T20I cricket.

Players to look out for:

1. Akeal Hosein – He is a very consistent performer for West Indies over the past 2 years. If he gets going, West Indies will have great chances against South Africa in the series.

2. Rovman Powell – He has been handed over the captaincy for the short version of white ball cricket. Powell is a superb striker of the cricket ball and it will be interesting to see how he bats after taking up the captaincy role.
