HOLLYWOOD, CA — A vacant commercial building across from Hollywood High School was damaged early Monday morning after a fire broke out in the two-story structure, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to 6842 W. Sunset Blvd., a block from Highland Avenue, at around 4:30 a.m.. It took 34 firefighters 14 minutes to knock down the flames, according to the LAFD.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

The small building, set back from the road, previously housed a foot clinic but has more recently been vacant.
