The 2024 NFL season is underway and Week 1 saw the first significant upset of the season. The Bengals were a sizable home favorite against the Patriots but couldn’t get anything going and lost 16-10. There were a few other upsets but that was the one that stood out.

That game and 49ers-Jets were my two highest confidence picks last week. Each week I pick all 16 games straight up and rank the games by confidence — high, medium, and low confidence.

I’m back once again with picks for Week 2. I’ve got four high confidence picks, seven medium confidence picks and five low confidence picks. I was 8-0 with my medium confidence picks, but things went south with my low confidence picks. I’ve got three outright upsets, with Bills over Dolphins on Thursday Night Football serving as my most confident upset.
