Haydock ITV Racing Tips 1-2-3 Selections
1:15 – Betfred Supports Jack Berry House Florida Handicap Cl5 (4yo+ 0-75) 1m4f ITV4
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 HAYDOCK ITV RACING TIPS: The Michael Appleby-trained In The Breeze is chanced in the opening ITV race at Haydock after a promising third last time at Windsor. The handicapper has dropped him a pound for that, plus also didn’t get the best of runs that day do did well to finish as close as he did. The consistent Auld Toon Loon and C’Mon Kenny, with William Buick riding, can do best of the rest.
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 HAYDOCK ITV RACING TIPS: 4 and 5 year-olds have done well in this race over the years so Law Of The Sea stands out. This 5 year-old showed a sign that he’s returning to form last time with a top 4th in the Chester Cup. That came off a 3-month break too, and William Buick catches the eye booked to ride. Solent Gateway is another to note, as is Carzola, who is seeking a 4-timer.
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 HAYDOCK ITV RACING TIPS: A tight race with several in-form runners heading to post – including the Frankie Dettori-ridden Convey, who has won his last two in impressive fashion. CD winner James McHenry is another to note after two good wins, but the call is recent Musselburgh scorer Gincident. This Richard Fahey runner got the job done by 2 1/2 lengths that day and despite up 7lbs looks the sort to have more in the tank.
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 HAYDOCK ITV RACING TIPS: Aidan O’Brien sends over his 2000 Guineas flop Little Big Bear for this Group 2 and having clearly not enjoyed the step up to 1m last time will be interesting back to 6f. Last season he won four times between 5f and 6 1/2f so the return to the sprinting trip here will be a big plus – Oh, a certain Frankie Dettori takes the ride. Cold Case and Bradsell look the obvious ones on the ratings to pick up the pieces if LBB has another off day.
SPORTSLENS 1-2-3 HAYDOCK ITV RACING TIPS: The Platinum Queen and Dramatised will be popular as they fly the flag for the 3 year-old generation and get weight from all the others too. But we’ve only seen three winning 3 year-olds land the race since 1996, with 4 and 5 year-olds having the best records. With that in mind the 5 year-old Happy Romance is interesting and will come here well drawn in 2 and also off the back of a top Listed win at Bath over this 5f trip.
Last year’s runner-up Twilight Calls can also go well from stall 6 and the Adam West-trained Live In The Dream is another that shouldn’t be far away.
