Herbert Mosher(known affectionately as Herb or Moe) died peacefully September 2, 2024 at the age of 94. He is survived by his sister, Sybil Burba, his nieces, Desiree Cantwell and Sabrina Brown (deceased) and his grand-nieces, Shaelin and Perry Cantwell. His wife Nancy Mosher predeceased him. Moe was an artist, writer, biker, chess-player and animal-lover. He kept cats, bees and sheep. He was born in the coastal town of Adamsville, RI, where he spent time in nature. His first jobs were as a lobsterman and as crew on different sea-going vessels throughout New England. Moe then worked as an engineer for Sprague Electric in Nashua, New Hampshire, where he settled with his wife Nancy,

In the 1980s Herb decided to change careers and so he opened The Framery on Main Street in Nashua, New Hampshire. He owned and operated this frame store and art gallery until he closed it in 2021. He spent time on Nantucket each summer, and enjoyed attending his grammar school reunions with students from the one room Wilbur School in Little Compton, RI. In the winters he and Nancy took their RV to Key West, where he made and sold his paintings. Later in life he traveled to Mexico and South America with an RV caravan. He led a life of creativity and kindness, and will be missed by his many friends and family.
