Racing on Tuesday comes from five venues in three countries, with four Flat race meetings and one National Hunt.
Ffos Las (1.25-4.00pm) and Catterick (2.10-4.45) provide an afternoon turf double bill on the level, while there are evening Flat cards at Chelmsford (5.40-8.10) and Kempton (5.50-8.50). In between, Roscommon (5.25-8.30) is the destination for the only jump racing.
Tuesday’s nap is a Tim Easterby runner at Catterick who can build on a narrow defeat over the same course and distance last month. The sprinter looks ready to prevail for the first time this year.

Horse racing predictions: Catterick 3.45
WADE’S MAGIC is a horse who clearly enjoys himself when the sun is on his back and often produces his best at this time of the year.
He recorded back-to-back wins over today’s trip of 6f at Ripon in August and September in 2021, having won twice in four starts at the same time of the year 12 months earlier.
Tim Easterby’s runner was just a neck behind the winner over this course and distance last month in what was a close three-way finish, the five-year-old having to settle for minor honours. With a clear run in the closing stages of that race, the result may have been much better.
The gelding remains off a mark of 59, the lowest he has dropped to in his career. His previous success came off a 7lb higher mark than this and, at his peak, he rose to 70 in the ratings.
Dave Allen is back on board and that is a boost to the horse’s chances, as the jockey knows Catterick as well as anybody. The pair look set for glory in this handicap contest.

Horse racing predictions: Kempton 5.50
ZAKRAM earned his maiden victory at the fifth attempt last time out when he prevailed at Lingfield (7f). That was his first start on the all-weather and he seemed to embrace the surface.
David O’Meara’s two-year-old gelding was held up by jockey Jason Watson before powering to the front end of the field inside the last furlong. Similar tactics can be expected again in this race.
A step up to 1m should suit, while the 5lb extra he has been given by the handicapper seems fair and affords him a great chance of successfully following up.
On paper this looks like a match-up between Zakram and the hat-trick-seeking Princess Naomi. The latter may just find it difficult now she has gone up a further 8lb for a narrow success at Beverley last time out. Zakram is 7lb better off in the weights than his rival, and that could make all the difference.

Horse racing predictions: Ffos Las 3.00
HANDYTALK has come close to victory twice this season. In May he was less than a length behind the winner at Chepstow (6f), and last time out, he finished second over the same course and distance.
Rod Milman’s nine-year-old gelding is off his most recent winning mark now and a repeat of what he produced on his latest outing could be enough to land this Class 6 handicap. The six-time winner will have no problems stepping up to 7f as he has run well over 1m before in his career.
In what is a competitive handicap contest, Milman’s runner should be in the conservation at the finish at the very least. He is one of the most reliable horses in this field and, on his day, he has the class to win this comfortably.
Selection: Handytalk @ SP with Sky Bet
