There are seven meetings taking place across the UK and Ireland on Friday, six Flat and one National Hunt.
Afternoon Flat racing comes from Brighton (1.20-4.25pm), Musselburgh (1.40-4.40) and Thirsk (2.00-4.35), with evening cards on the level at Tipperary (5.00-8.25), Haydock (5.07-8.37) and Newmarket (5.25-8.20). The lone jumps card comes from Wexford (4.45-8.10).
Friday’s nap will be looking to bag the feature race at Tipperary for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane, having gone close in a higher grade last time.

Horse racing predictions: Tipperary 6.45
The Coolmore Stud Churchill Stakes, a Listed race over 7½f, is the feature race and carries a top prize of £25,501 that has attracted a field of eight.
Among them is Greenland for Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore. The Saxon Warrior colt improved from his debut fifth over 7f at The Curragh in June to finish second over 1m at Killarney last month when shipping plenty of weight to the winner Papilio, who re-opposes here.
But that filly only beat one home in a Group 2 race at The Curragh on Irish Derby weekend and, like Greenland, has more to find now on revised terms (effectively 14lb worse off).
Lakota Seven represents last year’s winning combination of trainer Joseph O’Brien and jockey Shane Crosse. He, too, needs more having won a Bellewstown maiden five weeks ago on his second start.
The form pick therefore may be Ger Lyons’ Dandy Man colt HELLSING, who found plenty to win a 6f maiden at The Curragh on his debut in May having raced prominently.
He improved considerably on that effort when he finished second behind Proud And Regal in the Group 3 Tyros Stakes at Leopardstown (7f, good). The form of that contest in July was significantly boosted this week when the fourth home, Voce Del Palio, won the Ballyhane Stakes at Naas.
There is more to come now from Colin Keane’s mount and he can fend off the challengers under the champion jockey.

Horse racing predictions: Newmarket 7.10
Roger Varian’s PRAIANO is fancied to land this 1m 6f handicap under Jack Mitchell. The Dubawi gelding should be coming to the boil nicely on what will be his third start of the season. He was sent off favourite on his comeback at Salisbury over this trip in June but looked in need of the run.
He has been to Chester since and, over a shorter trip, was never able to land a telling blow in having been caught for pace racing in rear as the tempo lifted in front of him.
His runs last autumn at Sandown and Haydock show that this trip is within range and the handicapper has generously eased him 2lb for that run at Chester four weeks ago. Blinkers are deployed for the first time and, with the distance in his favour, he looks to hold a leading claim.
Marco Botti’s Giavellotto was a clear second best in a stronger Haydock contest over this trip last time and should present as a major danger, though perhaps he can count himself unfortunate to have gone up 5lb in the ratings in defeat.

Horse racing predictions: Musselburgh 3.40
Abduction scored last time out at Catterick and should have his chance again but must overcome a 4lb rise, so preference is for July course-and-distance winner RAMON DI LORIA for Ewan Whillans.
The son of Dandy Man had been finding his feet in four runs for this stable after moving over from Ireland, backing up good efforts in defeat at Hamilton and Carlisle with that win here.
He went up 3lb to this mark and has since finished a very close third under today’s claiming rider Aiden Brookes at Hamilton (6f, good to soft in places). That run gives him every chance of another challenge here as connections opt to keep him busy during this good run of form.
