More than 10 percent of the field at the 2024 Olympic men’s golf competition was comprised of LIV Golf players.
The 2024 Olympics have reached the halfway point, and on Sunday marked the conclusion of the men’s golf competition. The women are set to tee it up Wednesday, but the men’s competition was a thriller, with world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler going low Sunday to win the gold medal by a shot.
Of the 60 players in the field when the week began, seven of them played primarily for LIV Golf. Two-time major champion Jon Rahm held a four-shot lead with eight holes to play, but a back-nine 39 prevented him from getting on the podium, let alone winning gold.
From the top of the leaderboard to the bottom, here’s how all seven LIV Golf players fared this week at the Olympic men’s golf competition at Le Golf National.
