Rookie wideout Jermaine Burton recorded his first NFL touchdown in perfect Cincinnati Bengals fashion.

Just as the Bengals needed some kind of spark tonight, after being stalled essentially since their first drive of the night, Logan Woodside connected with Burton on a deep 41-yard touchdown pass late in the 4th quarter, putting Cincinnati up 14-10 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Burton hauled in another highlight-reel grab in the final minute that put the Bengals in field-goal range while down by three.

Burton received praise from his college coach, legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban, and Bengals great T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who had been coaching him up and molding him prior to the NFL draft.

You can only imagine the full circle moment of Houshmandzadeh helping the young receiver in the offseason and, in turn, having the chance to announce his name being selected by the Bengals in the third round of the draft.

Burton has been impressing coaches and Burrow throughout camp whilst also listening very intently to star receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

With the looks of it, this kid will have a promising young career.
