HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) – Preston Spradlin, head coach for James Madison men’s basketball, announced the team’s 2024-25 non-conference schedule Thursday.
The Dukes’ season opener is at home against Ohio, which also kicks off the second year of the MAC-SBC Challenge between the Mid-American Conference and the Sun Belt Conference, of which JMU is the reigning conference champion. The schedule also includes multiple matchups with other Virginia universities — Norfolk State, Mary Baldwin and George Mason — and former CAA rival Towson. Another highlight is the Dukes’ trip to Daytona Beach, Florida, for three games at the first-ever Boardwalk Battle.
