The Phoenix Suns had some fun with their 2024-25 schedule release.
The franchise posted a thread on X that “trolled” every team and its fanbase that is on their schedule for the upcoming season. Since Phoenix plays every NBA team, that means that shade was thrown everywhere.
One of the most notable jabs was Phoenix calling out the Miami Heat’s attendance, and it didn’t take long for Miami to respond.
The social media campaign also went after division rivals in the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings. However, they weren’t the only teams targeted by the Suns.
Jokes ranged from calling fans “bandwagoners” to making fun of the traditions of the cities they originate from.
The Suns were hardly the only team to do a comedic schedule release but theirs appears to be one of the more unique ones.
The Suns did not reveal the dates for the games, but it offers fans a unique view of the stereotypes that follow the teams around the league. The decision also could lead to some revenge when the team faces off against each opponent this season.
Phoenix will open up the 2024-25 season on Oct. 23 against the Los Angeles Clippers.
