DOHA, Qatar: Qatar and the United States formalized a significant security cooperation agreement in Doha, as reported by Qatar News Agency.
The agreement, signed by Abdullah bin Khalaf bin Hattab Al-Kaabi, undersecretary of Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, and US Ambassador to Qatar Timmy Davis, aims to strengthen the security partnership between the two nations.
The meeting also involved discussions on improving their existing security relations and exploring new ways to enhance collaboration.
This move comes as US, UK, France, Canada, and Jordan, advised their citizens to leave Lebanon due to escalating concerns about a potential all-out conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. The agreement underscores the growing regional instability and the need for robust international security partnerships to address emerging threats.
