ONENESS BLESSING: The Unity Spiritual Centre, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road, Liberty, will host a Oneness Blessing at 12:30 p.m. Sunday given by Paul Christian. The Oneness Blessing is a hands-on benediction that brings about changes in the energy of the brain, which enables the senses to be free from interference of the mind. SPIRITUAL JOURNEY: Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, 2067 Evergreen Road, Villa Maria, Pa., will offer “A Spiritual Journey Through the Jewish Calendar” with Rabbi Joseph Schonberger and co-host Father George Balasko at 7 p.m. June 7 via Zoom. The Zoom link will be available on the center’s website. This month’s topic is“Giving Positive Meaning to Life.”
Schonberger is a child of Holocaust survivors and his extended family greatly influenced him by reinforcing his spiritual identity. He has begun a new nonprofit organization called Tradition4u with hopes of helping people recognize and actualize their higher purpose by reinforcing faith through learning, fellowship and helping others. He is available for Rabbinic, pastoral and interfaith services. Among other activities and achievements, Schonberger has worked with Balasko in Jewish Christian Studies and Fellowship since 1997.

BLESSING OF BABIES: Second Baptist Church “A House of Hope,” 1510 Main Ave. SW, Warren, will host its annual citywide baby blessing and shower at 10 a.m. Sunday. During the worship service, Pastor Todd Johnson will offer prayer and blessings over babies and children up to 5 years old. After the service, a citywide baby shower will be hosted by first lady Shameika Johnson and the ladies of Second Baptist for expectant parents and parents of babies up to 1 year. ANNIVERSARY SET: First Baptist Church, 1300 Cedar St. SW, Braceville, will celebrate its 100th anniversary Aug. 26 and 27 with a celebratory banquet at Aulizio’s Banquet Center on Aug. 26.

HONOR GRADUATES: Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Niles will recognize high school graduates who are members at the 11 a.m. Mass on June 4.
