If you want to have fun in Palm Beach County, you have a lot of options: hitting the beaches, hiking in parks, attending museums and theaters, playing sports or attending sporting events, dining out … and shopping til you drop at our many malls.
And if there is a season for hitting the malls, this is it. Most will be decked out for the holidays, they will be rife with holiday deals and plenty of events for children.
If you’re up north, check out Harbourside Place by the Intracoastal and the upscale Gardens Mall; if you’re out west get both your big brand and mom-and-pop shop fix at Wellington Green; further south, you can score unique finds at the Boynton Beach Mall, check out the trendy stores at Delray MarketPlace and marvel in the luxury of the Town Center Mall. If you still haven’t found what you’re looking for, stop by the Tanger Outlets in West Palm Beach, which has more than 120 stores.
So now’s the time to hit the mall, grab a coffee, hum along to those seasonal songs, and, most of all, enjoy your holiday shopping in paradise.
Here is everything you need to know about Palm Beach County’s malls and outdoor shopping centers this holiday season.
Within its peach, Mediterranean-style walls, Mizner Park offers some of Boca Raton’s finest retail, dining and entertainment. The luxury landmark can be found about a mile west of South Beach Park, stretching across five acres of land just off U.S. 1.

The Square, a shopping, residential and entertainment district in the heart of West Palm Beach’s downtown, is undergoing a transition.
That’s not new. The district, which includes an indoor-outdoor mall and other venues, was known as CityPlace when it opened to long lines in October 2000. Then, in 2019, it was rebranded as Rosemary Square. And now, it’s simply The Square.

Antique Row in West Palm Beach is nestled among some of the city’s oldest and venerated historic neighborhoods. Its shops and restaurants run on the east and west sides of South Dixie Highway north of Southern Boulevard and less than a half-mile from the Intracoastal Waterway. The northern border of Antique Row is less defined, and quickly expanding with new shops, but it roughly ends at Belvedere Road.

In Boynton Beach, a milelong stretch of North Congress Avenue, between Boynton Beach Boulevard and Gateway Boulevard, is absolutely packed with stores and restaurants — all in walkable, open-air shopping centers.

Whether you’re planning dinner with visiting family, in the mood for a quick scoop of ice cream at the pink-walled Sloan’s Ice Cream or searching for new surf shorts, Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach is the place to be.
Located about a mile west of the beach, the main shopping and restaurant area of the famous avenue is a five-minute drive and roughly 20-minute walk from the shore.

Looking for a truly “Palm Beach” shopping experience? There are few shopping areas in South Florida that have quite the same history and renown as Worth Avenue, the iconic east-west road that is home to major luxury retailers and small local boutiques alike: Kassatly’s, the longest-standing business on Worth Avenue – and one that is locally owned, is next to Lilly Pulitzer, and just steps from Tiffany & Co. and Chanel.

The Gardens Mall and Downtown Palm Beach Gardens along PGA Boulevard east of Interstate 95 are neighboring retail centers that offer shoppers different experiences.

The Mall at Wellington Green is western Palm Beach County’s signature retail destination, featuring big department stores such as Dillard’s, Macy’s and JC Penney, and over 100 small shops and activity-based storefronts.

Tanger Outlets, which opened in 2014 as the Palm Beach Outlets on the site of the former storied Palm Beach Mall along Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard near Interstate 95, was rebranded as Tanger Outlets Palm Beach and is the only Tanger site south of Orlando. The more than 120 stores span categories from clothing apparel and accessories to home goods and footwear.

At Town Center at Boca Raton, shoppers come into a luxury setting that can make even the most casual browsing a pleasant escape. One of only a handful of luxury malls in Florida, Town Center has survived, and mostly thrived, by constantly updating its tenant mix with the latest offerings in fashion, food and even home furnishings.

It’s no secret that the Boynton Beach Mall has seen better days. But even now, decades after its grand opening in 1985, the mall still offers big-name retailers, local shops, diverse food options and kid-friendly activities that make up for the vacant storefronts.

Harbourside Place is northern Palm Beach County’s signature waterfront retail and dining complex. The Jupiter outdoor plaza sits a mile from the beach at the east end of the Indiantown Road bridge, its buildings straddling the Intracoastal Waterway and built around a Wyndham hotel.

Tucked behind Florida’s Turnpike is one of Delray Beach’s go-to spots for open-air shopping, dining and entertainment. Its fountains and palm trees may lure you in, but its dozens of retail options, wellness spots and unique restaurants will keep you there. Located just west of the turnpike on Lyons Road, Delray Marketplace is about 8 miles, or a 20-minute drive, from the city’s downtown area.
