Jack Draper moved into the second round of the Western & Southern Open by edging out Spanish qualifier Jaume Munar 7-5, 3-6, 7-6 (5) at the Lindner Family Tennis Center on Wednesday afternoon.
The British left-hander came back from a break down in the third set and saved a break point while serving at 5-5. He converted his second match point at 6-5 in the ensuing tiebreaker.
Draper, ranked No 27, will play Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, the No 9 seed, next.
