Travel alert issued in Coahoma County after multiple shootings
COAHOMA CO., Miss. (WMC) – Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office has issued a travel warning for the Friars Point area.
The sheriff’s office says shootings have been occurring after 8 p.m. until the early morning hours in the area of Highway 1 and all Friars Point entrances.
CCSO says there have been multiple shootings that may be gang-related, but could have been random.
