Chicago Bears: The more I watch and read about the Bears offense, the more I believe they can pull off what the Texans did with their rookie first-round quarterback in 2023. Caleb Williams is a special player, and he seems to have the ideal career-launching supporting cast with Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Cole Kmet and a strong offensive line. This should be fun.
Detroit Lions: Could Jahmyr Gibbs be the X-factor for the Lions in 2024? He hit a bit of a wall late in his rookie season, which happens, but now the hype machine is turned up as it looks as though the 2023 No. 12 overall pick will play a much more dynamic and elaborate role in a stacked offense. Eventually, J.J. McCarthy will get a shot. But that might not come until 2025, and it’s possible both Darnold and McCarthy will be starters (in separate cities) next season.
During a recent episode of PFT Live, I said I was considering switching allegiances from the Vikings to the Eagles, if only
