Marquette Golden Eagles vs Seton Hall Pirates

Start Time – 8:00 PM EST

Coach Shaka Smart’s Marquette Golden Eagles had high expectations placed on them entering this season, and for the most part they’ve exceeded them, going from a preseason ranking of #18 to their current spot at #10. However, they were upset in their last game – at home, no less – by Xavier. Lucky for them, the schedule offers up a nice bounce-back spot tomorrow night on the road in New Jersey.

The Seton Hall Pirates are not a very good basketball team, losing their last three and eight of their past nine. This includes a 28-point loss at home to St. John’s last time out. Based on the teams’ resumes and Seton Hall’s home-court advantage (not sure that exists when you lose by 28 on your home floor), I’d line this game up at Marquette -17.5. That makes the Golden Eagles on the spread the best bet tomorrow.
