The Miami Dolphins revealed home-and-away throwback jerseys that they will wear on a pair of Thursday games this season.
On Sept. 12, the Dolphins will wear their throwback home aqua uniforms against the Buffalo Bills.
On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, Miami will visit the Green Bay Packers for a night game while wearing its white away uniforms.
Both are huge matchups for a Dolphins team trying to make the playoffs for the third straight season. Last year’s team went 11-6, good enough for Miami’s best win total since 2008 (11-5, AFC East champions).
Miami excelled off the strength of the NFL’s No. 2 scoring offense and a phenomenal season from wideout Tyreek Hill (119 catches, 1,799 yards, 13 touchdowns) and running backs Raheem Mostert (1,187 yards, 21 touchdowns) and De’Von Achane (997 yards, 11 touchdowns in 11 games).
The Dolphins earned the AFC’s No. 6 seed but fell to the eventual Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the Wild Card round.
They’ll look to improve upon that performance in 2024, though. The spotlight will be brighter on Miami after a fantastic offensive season, and the Dolphins should be in the playoff mix once again. We obviously don’t know how they’ll do, but we do know they’ll be wearing some great, classic uniforms in two of the season’s most important matchups.
