Fast-casual restaurant chain Just Salad is celebrating the grand opening of its second Queens location in Bayside this week.

The new store, located in The Bay Terrace Shopping Center at 212-09 26th Ave., officially soft opened in December and follows the success of its first Queens location in Astoria, which debuted last year.

Known for its focus on health and sustainability, Just Salad offers a variety of menu items, including over 15 chef-designed salads, wraps, warm bowls, soups, and smoothies. Fan favorites like the Crispy Chicken Poblano, Thai Chicken Crunch, Tokyo Supergreens, and Earth-Friendly salads featuring low carbon footprints will be available at the new Bayside location.

The brand’s signature Reusable Bowl Program encourages customers to reduce waste by purchasing a reusable bowl, with a free topping included for every reuse.

As part of its grand opening celebration, Just Salad is offering several in-store promotions. On Wednesday, Jan. 8, the store will host “Giveback Day,” where $1 from every purchase will be donated to the Alley Pond Environmental Center.

From Jan. 9-11, customers can enjoy $5 meals during select times as part of “$5 Meal Days.” On Monday, Jan. 13, “VIP Bowl Day” will offer $5 meals to Reusable Bowl customers, followed by “Community Workers Day” on Tuesday, Jan. 14, when community workers can also purchase $5 meals. Additionally, from March 3-21, “Reusable Bowl Happy Hour” will feature $8.99 salads and warm bowls for Reusable Bowl customers from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays.

The Bay Terrace Shopping Center is home to a variety of establishments, including Panera Bread, Starbucks, Home Goods, and Sephora. The addition of Just Salad brings a fresh and sustainable dining option to the Bayside community.

Founded in 2006, Just Salad is a Certified B Corporation™ committed to sustainability and health. The company was the first U.S. restaurant chain to carbon label its menu and offers a Climatarian menu category, aligning with its mission to encourage customers to “Eat with Purpose.” The restaurant chain has over 90 locations nationwide.

The Bayside location operates Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering convenient hours for both weekday and weekend dining. For more information on Just Salad and its grand opening promotions, visit justsalad.com.
