MARLBORO, NJ — A new Planet Fitness location has opened in Marlboro.

Located in Marlboro Plaza on Route 9, the new gym officially opened its doors to customers on Tuesday. The space is open seven days per week, according to the Planet Fitness website, and offers various membership options for patrons.

“We strive to create a workout environment where everyone feels accepted and respected,” Planet Fitness officials said. “That’s why at Planet Fitness Marlboro, NJ, we make sure our club is clean and welcoming, our team members are friendly, and our certified trainers are ready to help.”

News of Planet Fitness joining Marlboro Plaza came in September 2023.

The gym took over the plaza’s previous Staples location in a 10-year lease agreement and currently occupies over 20,000 square feet.

Located less than five minutes from the gym’s previous location, Marlboro’s Planet Fitness features a new functional training and mobility room, upgraded Black Card Spa, and new strength and cardio equipment with free weights, smith machines, and more.

“Whether you’re a first-time gym user or a fitness veteran, you’ll always have a home in our Judgement Free Zone,” Planet Fitness officials said.
