Less than two weeks from now, the latest installment in the hit video game series NBA 2K will be released to the public, and fans are eager to know the ratings their favorite players will have in this year’s version.
It is always a subject of debate, and one has to wonder how much attention players themselves pay to their ratings in NBA 2K.
Ahead of the release of NBA 2K25, the ratings for each player on the Los Angeles Lakers’ roster have been released. Rookies Dalton Knecht and Bronny James got a 70 and 68 rating, respectively, and you can see the ratings for every other player on their roster below.
A reflection of his continued elite play, LeBron James got a 96 rating fresh off becoming the oldest player ever to make an All-NBA team and helping to lead Team USA men’s basketball to an Olympic gold medal. Anthony Davis, who played alongside him on Team USA, has a 95 rating.
Many fans will likely feel most of these ratings are reasonable. But one has to hope that Max Christie, who is entering his third NBA season, will step up his game and therefore earn a higher rating the next time around. The same goes for Christian Wood, whose production greatly dropped this past season. He has pledged that he’s “coming back next season with a vengeance.”
