Qatar Airways has appointed Wayne Borland as Country Manager for the Australian Eastern market. Bringing over 25 years of global experience in the airline industry, including more than 13 years with Etihad Airways, Borland will be adding exceptional knowledge and experience to the local team.
Borland brings with him experience from other airlines including Aircalin, Air New Zealand and American Airlines where he worked in a variety of management, sales and business development positions, as well as broad industry experience at companies including Carlson Wagonlit and Movenpick Hotels.
“I am delighted to be joining such a prestigious airline and look forward to being part of Qatar Airways’ ongoing growth in Australia,” said Borland.
