Qatar SC had a devastating start to the season as they lost woefully to Al-Duhail in their league opener last week. Qatar SC held their forte in the first half of the game which ended goalless but they faltered in the second half conceding a total of 6 goals in the second half. The game was a very tough one with Al-Shamal exceeding our expectations as they also played their hearts out. Al-Shamal were already up by 2-goals in the 74th minute but Al-Sadd got one goal back in the 89th minute and Akram Afif lost their only chance of an equalizer in the last minute of the game as he lost a penalty from the spot in the last minute. Al-Sadd is currently 10th in the league table and they’ll most definitely aim for their first league win here.
